Terms of reference
The Terms of Reference (ToR) describe the principles, rights and responsibilities of institutions participating in the Platform. They include commitments to:
- Technical and scientific cooperation around soybean and beef value chains;
- Transparency, scientific integrity and respect for intellectual property;
- Knowledge sharing and participation in joint activities;
- Adherence to the Platform's low-carbon and sustainability objectives.
Focal Points & Communication
Communication mechanism
Each partner institution appoints a focal point responsible for liaising with the Platform's Executive Secretariat. Focal points join periodic meetings, receive activity updates and mobilize their teams for collaboration on specific projects.

Three-step accession process

Expression of interest
Email to the Executive Secretariat indicating institutional profile and areas of interest for cooperation.

Assessment and dialogue
Exploratory meeting with the Steering Committee to align objectives, scope and potential contributions.
3
Formal accession
Signature of the Terms of Reference and designation of an institutional focal point.
