The Platform
A bilateral mechanism for sustainable agriculture between Brazil and China
The China-Brazil Sustainable Food Value Chain Platform is a bilateral initiative launched by CAAS and FGV, in partnership with IFPRI, to jointly promote sustainable and low-carbon agricultural trade — focused on the soybean and beef value chains.
As major agricultural countries and trade partners, Brazil and China play a central role in jointly building green food value chains. The Platform advances cooperation in technology, trade standards and green investment, connecting partners from both countries around sustainable agricultural trade and action on land use, climate change, productivity and food security.
