China–Brazil Green Food Value Chain Field Mission

Date: 2–9 March 2026.

The mission conducted stakeholder consultations, institutional meetings, and field observations across São Paulo, Brasília, and Mato Grosso to collect qualitative insights on soy and beef value chains, traceability systems, land-use monitoring, smallholder inclusion, and low-carbon production practices. The team engaged with government agencies, research institutions, producer organizations, cooperatives, private companies, and civil society actors, while visiting farms, biorefineries, energy facilities, and research sites to observe sustainable production models and technologies in practice.
